It’s easy to find out the net worth of Hollywood celebrities. Just one Google search and all your answers are there. Everything is pretty much transparent but unfortunately (or fortunately?) the same cannot be said for Malaysian celebrities as they’d rather keep things on the hush-hush.
Recently, a video went viral on TikTok claiming Malaysia’s former badminton player Lee Chong Wei as the richest shuttler in the world but there’s actually no way of confirming on whether this information is true or not. Right now, word is going around that Adi Putra is worth a lot of money but just how much and is it true?

Word on the street has it that Malaysian actor Datuk Adi Putra is worth RM21.9 million. It is currently unknown where exactly this information originated from but it was reported that the claim came from a local online portal. Since word got out, everyone has been curious if this information is true or not.
Speaking with Gempak, the 41-year-old is setting the record straight (or not) about the claims that he’s basically a millionaire. When asked about the recent news, the actor did not give a straight forward “yes” or “no” answer. Instead he just said that, “the claims for that amount were made by people. They can be inaccurate as it can be more or it can be less,” he said.
The “KL Gangster” star then went on to say that whatever fortune he has now, it’s only temporary as he’s just borrowing it from god. Adi then asked to not be called a millionaire. “There are those who are comfortable with showing off their fortune on social media but I prefer to stay behind the scenes.”

This isn’t actually the first time the actor’s worth made headlines. Back in 2018, the “Mat Kilau” actor posted an article on his Instagram where he was listed as one of the richest celebrities in Malaysia. He thanked the writer in his caption as well as expressing his gratitude to god for his achievements.
In other news, Adi Putra is starring in the new “Air Force The Movie: Selagi Bernyawa” movie that will hit the big screens later this year on 25th August.
