Some people lead a more career driven life. They’ll do what they can do to stay on top of their game. While there’s nothing wrong with having a career and being in love, sometimes the timing may not be right. Juggling both can be pretty taxing as they say.
Angelababy (杨颖) is now free to mingle since she divorced her husband Huang Xiaoming (黄晓明) after six years of marriage. Now a single woman, this gives her the opportunity to start fresh and focus on her career. However, netizens have reasons to believe that she might be up to something suspicious.

Hong Kong singer and actress Angelababy may be in hot water as netizens recently discovered that she has closed down four of her studios; Yang Ying Film and Television Culture Communication Xinyi Studio, Yang Ying Century Film & Television Culture Communication Xinyi Studio, Yang Ying Era Film and Television Culture Communication Xinyi Studio, and Yang Ying Epoch Film & Television Culture Communication Xinyi Studio.
It was reported that all of these studios were dissolved on the same day. According to an official statement released, it only said, “An agreement to dissolve it was granted.” As for the reason why they were dissolved, well, netizens speculate that one of the reasons was probably tax issues.
Some even suspect that the real reason for the closure of the companies was due to poor management and lack of employees. Rumours were also spreading online that the “I Remember” star initially started the 4 studios with the hope of attracting investors and allegedly legally avoiding taxation from the government.

However, these speculations have yet to be confirmed by the actress or by her investor, Mr Dong Wenying (董文英). With the strict crackdown on tax evasion by the Chinese government on big-name celebrities, many of Angelababy’s fans hope that she will not be the next target. After all, many still remembered what happened to fellow actress Fan Bingbing (范冰冰) and actor Allen Deng Lun (邓伦) who silently disappeared from the spotlight.
In other news, the 33-year-old has supposedly been busy with her recent acting roles in the period drama “The Wind Blows From Longxi (风起陇西)” and an upcoming drama “爱情应该有的样子” in which she co-stars with Taiwanese rapper Edward Lai (赖冠霖).
