A lot can happen on the road if you’re not careful but even if you are being very careful and following the road rules, others may not be as obedient and will cause trouble for everyone. Sometimes, some people have the craziest road rage.
It’s completely understandable why someone would be upset if another driver or motorcyclist are being careless on the road but there are those who just love to pick a fight and make a big deal out of absolutely nothing. This senior citizen was unfortunately (and very suddenly) beaten up by someone on the road.

A video originally posted by Mohd Faizal Wahid on Facebook recently went viral. The video shows a young motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, mercilessly beating up a senior citizen in the middle of the road after an alleged collision between his motorcycle and the old man’s car. The incident took place in Padang Jawa, Selangor.
The original video post has since been deleted but not before being reposted online. A netizen posted a compilation video of the incident on the Info Berita Semasa Facebook group where we can see locals intervened to stop the fight and scolded the young man for not respecting his elders. The next video shows the villagers beating the motorcyclist for what he did.
Netizens reacted to the viral video with some commented that the culprit had what was coming for him after mercilessly beating up a senior citizen. Others disagreed that the villagers should not have beaten the motorcyclist as it shows that they are no better than him.

The incident caught police’s attention and they have apprehended the young man. Shah Alam OCPD Assistant Commissioner Iqbal Ibrahim said in a statement yesterday (Sunday, 22nd May) that the victim got out of his car to check if there had actually been a collision but was suddenly pushed to the ground by the suspect.

The 61-year-old victim sustained head and chest injuries and was apparently with his wife and grandchild, who were in the car, at the time of the altercation. According to Iqbal, the motorcyclist has been detained and will be remanded on Monday (23rd May).
