For some, children are little miracles of life. There’s always something amazing about seeing a very tiny baby grow up and eventually become a full fledge adult. However, not all babies live to see their first sunrise.
Malaysian actress Aenie Wong (王淑君) recently commemorated the passing of her second child on Instagram. According to the actress, she had lost her daughter to a miscarriage at 21 weeks. However, her daughter’s passing has led Aenie to offer support to others like her.
On 3rd May, Aenie took to Instagram to pen a letter to her second child. She shared that her daughter has passed two months ago and although Aenie has been working to keep herself busy, they still miss her very much. “I am grateful that we were able to fight together, laugh together, feel each other’s heartbeat, feel each other’s movement and even feel the pain together when we went through all the medical processes throughout the 5 months plus,” she wrote.
Although it was one of the hardest things she had ever had to go through, Aenie still believes it was a blessed moment as well. The actress added that the incident had strengthened her faith in God and pushed her to be strong. “You will always be remembered as part of the family. We will move on with joy to cherish the blessing you’ve given us. You are truly an angel. Love you, our forever daughter,” she ended.
Her story had her friends and fans offering condolences and love. Some also shared their experiences in losing their own children. Aenie thanked them for their kind words and stories but ultimately stressed that it was never their fault.
“Ladies, DO KNOW THAT it’s all about SCIENCE,” she stated. “Gentlemen, do know that your wife needs your love and care more than anything else if this ever happens.” Aenie added that being kind to one another after such an incident was far more helpful than heaping blame. “You are still a PERFECT woman who deserves to be loved,” she reminded. She also suggested turning to pregnancy loss support groups for help if necessary.

Our hearts go out to Aenie and others who have also lost their children via miscarriage. We hope these lovely ladies and their husbands find peace in what has happened.
