4th May is a significant day where fans gather to celebrate Star Wars Day and wish others “May the force be with you” (a common phrase for good luck). This date has since expanded into a global phenomenon where people hold events and fan-viewing parties.
There’s no better time to transport yourself to a galaxy far, far, away than Star Wars Day! Not sure where to start with the huge slate of Star Wars content available on Disney+ Hotstar? Let your personality type build your Star Wars watchlist.
1. The Underdog
If you’re often described as the person who pushes forward despite obstacles that stand in your way, “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” is the perfect show to start your Star Wars marathon.
The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy. Members of the Bad Batch – a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army – each possess a singular exceptional skill which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose.

2. The OG

3. The Gung-ho
If your life motto is “where there’s a will, there is a way”, “The Book of Boba Fett” is right up your alley. This 7-episode series finds legendary bounty hunter, Boba Fett, and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate. Portrayed as a driven and determined individual, Boba Fett sets high standards and is determined to fulfil them no matter what.
4. The Protector
If you tend to look out for others around you, you’ll definitely want to add both seasons of “The Mandalorian” to your watchlist this May the 4th! Originally hired to capture Grogu, or more affectionately known as Baby Yoda, The Mandalorian instead protects him from a remnant of the fallen Galactic Empire. In the second season of the series, The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.
5. The Righteous
If you can’t turn a blind eye to injustice or what’s morally right, you might be able to relate to Obi-Wan Kenobi. This upcoming original limited series begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat – the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. With Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen returning to reprise their respective roles, be sure to mark your calendars for 27th May to stream it exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar!
