It’s a sad, sad day for local shoppers out there. Isetan 1 Utama has announced on their social media today that they will be officially bidding their loyal customers goodbye after 10 years. The retail store will be ceasing their operations in the popular shopping centre this week.
For those in the dark, the unfortunate news first came to light back in November last year. In a more recent update, the Japanese department store took to Facebook to announce the closure of the outlet. According to the statement, Isetan 1 Utama will be opening for the very last time tomorrow (Tuesday, 5th April).
“Dear valued customers. Kindly be informed that 5th April (Tuesday), marks the last day of Isetan 1 Utama store business operation. We hope you will enjoy the best savings and savour the meals at our Eat Paradise restaurants with our Final Sale until 5th April 2022,” Isetan Kuala Lumpur revealed in their statement on Facebook.
“For the past 10 years, Isetan had the pleasure of serving the PJ community with quality lifestyle, food and beauty merchandise and it had been a fantastic journey throughout. As we physically bid goodbye at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to our loyal customers for the unconditional support and patronage over the years,” they further added.
In the same statement, Isetan revealed that their remaining outlets will remain open as usual. Shoppers can also opt for Isetan’s online store for alternatives.
