Hong Kong actor Joseph Lee Kwok Lun (李国麟) is currently focusing on selling items during his live stream. The former TVB actor had a pretty sad start to his new endeavour. He had apparently failed to sell anything during his first stream! However, it turns out that was due to the team he had been working with.
Joseph had supposedly gotten better since. At least, until his most recent blunder online. Joseph was caught off-guard when netizens asked him questions about sanitary pads, which he was selling. The questions were playful, unfortunately, his response was plain embarrassing.

The 67-year-old actor was apparently selling products for women during his live-stream. This included sanitary pads. The appearance of said product caused a wave of messages in chat, with some teasing Joseph while others asked pertinent questions. “Mr. Lee, tell me how to use it,” one comment read, while another jokingly asked, “Has Mr. Lee tried it?” Another comment simply wanted to know about the thickness of the cotton in the pad.
Jospeh was taken aback by the questions. It was clear he didn’t exactly know what he had gotten himself into, but to be fair, he gamely continued. He explained he had never used it, and he didn’t know much about the product. His female assistant then opened a pack to show the netizens. Upon examining it, Joseph said: “Now I know, it is written on it here (that) it can also be used as a blindfold! The picture is very funny.”
He may have meant it as a joke, but unfortunately, some netizens weren’t happy with his response. Some said he was being unprofessional and embarrassing. Others requested he switch to talking about a different product instead. Many claimed that the situation got weird because Joseph was being awkward about the product.

Joseph’s acting skills may be renown, but even he falters in the face of women’s products. Perhaps he should sell products he’s more familiar with in the future, or research the products he’s selling prior to the live stream. Well, at the very least, it was a learning moment for all involved.
