After 11 years of marriage, celebrity couple Mizz Nina and Noh Salleh recently dropped a huge announcement to the public – They have welcomed their first son via adoption!
Through a long post uploaded on her Instagram last night (Thursday, 3rd March), the 41-year-old disclosed that the baby, named Musa, has been a part of their lives for three months.
“Alhamdulilah it has been 3 months since the arrival of baby Musa, we are grateful to Allah for this beautiful blessing and du’a come true – I can safely say that he is my mahram (family member) now,” the former musician announced. In the same post, Mizz Nina also recounted the couple’s journey and struggle in conceiving their first child.
According to her, “It has been a long journey to get to where we are today, through years of IUIs, IVFs, operations, Allah granted us this sweet baby through other means, and it was all meant to be. If Allah wills it for you, nothing can stop it from reaching you and only He knows the right time for everything to fall into place. All the tests and struggles are for a good reason.”
Additionally, the “Takeover” hit-maker also stated that it took her almost a year to get herself ready to welcome their child via adoption. She shared, “Noh initiated the idea of us adopting, and since he was down for it, it got me curious. Our humanitarian trips also helped me immensely with making this decision. There are so many babies and children out there without one or both parents, without the means or a place they can call home with a family who loves them.”
Mizz Nina further explained that it wasn’t easy for her to open up her heart for the “life-changing experience”. “I had constantly prayed for God to expand my heart, for me to let go of insecurities and put my trust on Him, His plan, and His Way. All praise to Him, with baby Musa, my heart, soul, mind and body was ready to take him in.”
“He is a beautiful gift and creation of Allah, and it is such a privilege for us to have him thus far. Its been a awesome roller coaster ride being new parents 😍😅 and we are loving every moment,” the motivational speaker concluded her post on IG.
