Last week, Malaysian singer Damien Mikhail, and HK actor Bobby Au Yeung experienced the wrath of online nitpickers over their Christmas posts on social media. This time around, it appears that the case is completely different for actress Lana Nodin!
If you’ve been following Lana on her IG, then you may know that the local celeb (who’s currently residing in the States with her American husband and their kids) has been active in sharing her current updates with her fans on social media. Recently, Lana uploaded a clip of her celebrating the festive season with her family.

“(After so long) now I have the time to share how my in-laws celebrated Christmas Day. Everyone here in this video are our family members. Despite the different religion, we still respect their culture and tradition. Similar like my in-laws, they respect our cultural customs and still accept us as part of their family,” the “Aku Yang Kau Gelar Isteri” actress captioned her post, along with the hashtags “#belatedchristmas”, “#inlaws” and also “#nodiscrimination”.
The post was met with several remarks left by netizens on Instagram. Many of them echoed Lana’s statement in regards to respecting each other’s cultures and beliefs without practising any discrimination. Not only that, there was also one commentator who appeared to throw some shade at the holier-than-thou community who often blast other people.
Here are some of the comments left by them:
We hope Lana had a joyful Christmas with her loved ones! Here’s to a better year ahead. ♡
