Flash floods have been a huge problem for Malaysia since last week (18th December). Many have been stranded in their homes and neighbourhoods as they struggle in dealing with the flood. Some have even lost their lives, like this Malaysian groom.

With so many needing help, others have been stepping up to lend a hand. That includes Chinese businessman Dato Seri Sunny Ong Hui San. Not only did he head out to help, the Dato didn’t mind using his ~RM4 million Brabus Mercedes AMG G700 6×6 for aid and rescue mission.

Netizens have been reporting seeing the expensive six-wheeler slogging through water with supplies in the back. A few have even seen him braving the floods to transport victims to their destinations. The vehicle is certainly made for challenging situations and this is as challenging as it gets!

As some netizens have stated, it is the best way to ‘test’ the vehicle. Additionally others have commended Dato Seri Sunny for “using the car for it’s right purpose”. “This is the true function of the car,” one comment read. “Not to drive fast on the highway, and cut lines with escorts!” Another comment stated it was the “proper way to flex“. “Not uploading stories stepping on money, showing off lavish vacations, enjoying lazy weather, (but when it floods) puiii,” they said.

Many netizens have been praising Dato Seri Sunny for his selfless actions. Plenty of them have also been leaving thank yous and heart emojis in his Instagram comments section to show their appreciation. Others have observed that the Dato cares more about human lives than his things. “Real rich guy doesn’t mind if his pricey ride gets dirty,” one comment read. “What a chad.”

It’s certainly heart-warming to know that Dato Seri Sunny is willing to get on his ‘high horse’ and assist. In a time where all help is needed, any help is appreciated. Hopefully, Dato Seri Sunny will inspire others to lend a hand wherever they can!
