Is Iqbal finally ready to leave all the drama surrounding his failed relationship with Dato’ Seri Vida behind? Starting fresh with his new life in Indonesia, it appears that the entrepreneur has found himself a new lady that he fancies, and this time it’s the famous balladeer Rossa!
Previously, Iqbal sparked a frenzy among netizens after he shared a post of him alongside the 43-year-old songstress. “The first person I met in Indonesia. May good things come my way. Please pray and leave warm wishes only, okay? Any wishes you’d like to relay here?” he captioned the photo.
In shedding some light on the incident, Rossa stated that she had only met him once during the premier screening of the movie “Love Knots”. According to her, she was approached by someone (who claimed he came from Malaysia) and wanted to snap a picture with her. “We didn’t have any conversation after that, because I thought he was just a fan,” the singer explained to mStar.
In response to Rossa’s clarification, Iqbal later admitted that what she said was true. At the same time, Iqbal revealed that he’s thankful that she still remembered him. “What I said is true, I still want to get to know her. When we approach someone, that doesn’t necessarily mean that we want to marry the person. Maybe we want to be friends, or possibly collaborate,” he wrote on his IG Story.
“Thank God, at least Datuk Seri @itsrossa910 remembers me, because I was the only fan from Malaysia at that time. Don’t worry, I know how to protect other people’s privacy and dignity,” the 27-year-old further added.
“I realise who I am,” Iqbal wrote in his subsequent post. “Datuk Seri @itsrossa910 and I are two completely different people. I also know my limits. I have great respect for her. Just pray for the best.”
There, there, don’t be sad, Iqbal. As the famous saying goes; “There are plenty of fishes in the sea.” :)
