There’s no denying that people will change over the years. The only difference is how drastic said change is. While most of us don’t usually document it, Malaysian influencer Cathryn Li (李元玲) has and decided to share it with her fans!
It’s no secret that the influencer is dedicated to her looks, as evidenced by the gym photos and workout vids. It has certainly paid off. She recently posted a video of her “growth” from when she was 18 till now and fans have been marvelling at the change.
Yesterday (5th December), Cathryn uploaded a 45-second video of her photos from over the years. The short video includes photos of her from when she was 18 till now. You can certainly see Cathryn change from an awkward, self-conscious teenager to a beautiful, confident young lady! Cathryn continues to maintain that mature yet youthful look at 32.
You might think that the influencer has found the fountain of youth. Unfortunately for us, Cathryn has made it clear that it’s all thanks to persistence, hard work, and effort. “There is no elixir of immortality in this world,” Cathryn shared. “Only (by) working hard to maintain (your looks), loving sports and cherishing yourself can you live beautiful, happy and healthy forever.”
Fans have been inspired by the influencer’s visible success. “I hope I can be as (hot) as you when I am 30,” one wished. Another praised Cathryn, saying: “The longer you live, the younger you are.” Unfortunately, haters will hate. One comment pointed out that she could have faked everything. “There (are) beauty apps and photo editing,” it read.
This isn’t the first time Cathryn has revealed the changes her body has undergone over a time span. Last time, she shared how her figure changed over 5 years! Additionally, Cathryn is very adept at handling her naysayers. Recently, the influencer shut down doubts about whether her workouts were faked.

Well, Cathryn definitely gives us hope that we can still look good, even at 30 and maybe beyond! You just need to put in the effort for it. She certainly provides motivation for us to keep working out.
