5 Reasons To Track Your Fitness In This New Norm

As Malaysians are adapting to the new norms in our daily life, it is possible that we could overlook our wellbeing. Even though gyms and fitness centers are allowed to operate again in Malaysia, many have converted to home gyms and getting used to working out at home.

Having said that, we believe that one should always prioritise a healthy lifestyle despite the busy schedule. Here are 5 reasons why you should keep track of your fitness level amidst the pandemic:

1. Keep your vitals in check

For adults who are still working from home, physical inactivity might be a huge factor that will hinder your physical fitness due to having limited space to move around. Physical inactivity due to current movement restrictions can be a factor that causes several chronic diseases such as diabesity, stroke, and arthritis. Find gadgets like realme Band 2 to help monitor your heart rate and blood oxygen level in real-time and is precise and accurate, thus keeping you alert about your condition at all times.

2. Boost Immune System

Our immune system plays an important role in our health. Little things like going for a simple jog could help you improve your immune system. Boosting your immune system helps to maintain a healthy body in the long run as well. Indoor Run, Indoor Walk, and Indoor Cycling are just some examples that you could enjoy while staying at home.

3. Ease mental distress

Engaging in physical activities is also a favourable way to spend your time alone as exercise has been proven to have positive effects on mental health. Exercise releases chemicals like serotonin and endorphins to your brain and helps uplift your mood. Well, realme Band 2 actually contains health features like a water reminder and stress measurement, therefore it works as your ‘partner’ to remind you to stay hydrated and chill.

4. Still prefer outdoor sports?

As the government introduced a new set of SOPs with outdoor sports allowed, we are actually no longer limited to indoor sports as long as it’s a non-contact sport. The 90 sports modes in realme Band 2 have also included several outdoor activities that will be suitable, such as Outdoor Run, Outdoor Cycle, Pool Swimming, Aerobics, and many more. You can freely enjoy your favourite sports with the smart band that will help you to record your exercise time and calories count.

5. To unlock a new achievement for yourself!

As we spend ample time on our own, why not utilize these times to accomplish our body goal? These days, there are plenty of devices that provide access to your calories count, weight count, body fat, and even muscle mass.

Maintaining your physical activity can be challenging during these hectic times, but it is very beneficial and does no harm to you!
