If the rumuors are to be believed, then Ezra Miller’s “The Flash” (not to be confused with CW’s series and Grant Gustin’s character) is going to be nuts! The short trailer doesn’t show much in terms of plot seeing that the film doesn’t quite have enough material for a full trailer. At least according to actor Ezra Miller.
What we do see though is Barry travelling across different places and times, including a house. The trailer later shows him tapping an older woman on the shoulder.
Those familiar with the “Flashpoint” comics and “Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox” film know that in the story Barry travels back in time to save his mother. Inadvertently changing the timeline and needing to meet with an older, different Batman to try to fix everything. Could this woman in the teaser be Barry’s mother, Nora Allen? All signs seem to be pointing to it.
The trailer ends with two Barry Allens (yes we said that right) and Supergirl appearing in the Batcave. One that belongs to Michael Keaton’s Batman instead of Ben Affleck’s. It’s starting to look a lot like DC’s “Flashpoint”, let’s hope it lives up to the hype. The film’s cast will feature Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / the Flash, Kiersy Clemons as Iris West, Temuerra Tom Curry (Aquaman’s father) and Sasha Calle as Supergirl.
