Malaysian actress Lana Nodin has been a hot topic on social media after she came forth to call Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah out amid the high number of daily Covid-19 cases in Malaysia. Not only that, she also urged him to step down as the Director General of Health.

On top of that, there are also many netizens who accused Lana of being an anti-vaccine as she openly stated that she prefers not to take the vaccine, in addition to questioning the effectiveness of the vaccine.

Recently, Lana (full name Mazlina Hasan Nodin) uploaded a video on her Instagram, revealing that she and her family have safely arrived in her husband, David McKienzie’s home country in the United States. In the post shared on social media (accompanied with N’Sync’s hit “Bye Bye Bye”), she appeared to clap back at the haters those who had previously slammed her.

Lana wrote, “This is a special video I made for those who are always insulting and still criticise and like to speculate on their own without asking me, without researching and studying why and what I did. Some even said, ‘Oh, she didn’t even pass the airport, let alone manage to fly back to the US.”

“In the country, the situation there is much worse. You’re not allowed to dine in, go to the mall or even the mosque. Okay, so I’m back in the States. I’ll prove to those who claimed that they know better than me. When @ritrud727 (Rita Rudaini) and I shared our infos, we were labelled with various names even though what we told was the truth,” she continued in her long post.

The outspoken artiste added by writing, “A lot of things that are not transparent were told by these so-called TikTok doctors, retired police officers, and even wannabe journalists who act like they know a whole lot more about what’s happening in foreign countries. Now that I’m back, I’ll see for myself who’s right!”

In addition, the “Aku Yang Kau Gelar Isteri” actress also took to her Instagram Story to share some captured moments during their arrival in the States. Among the moments captured include the family having their breakfast. She pointed out that she could still dine in at the restaurant, despite not receiving the vaccine. Lana sarcastically wrote, “I couldn’t dine in at KL, so I had my meal in Miami. Bon Appétit!”

The 41-year-old then recalled the time when she and her family went to the Kemensah River in Selangor. However, as a lot of people already noted that Lana didn’t take the Covid-19 vaccine, she revealed that her kids were immediately chased away from the swimming area by the river.

Lana’s recent IG update even caught the attention of fellow local celeb Rita Rudaini. The “Mami Jarum” actress took to her own Instagram to leave satirical comments such as, “How many doses (have you received? Just askin'”, and also, “What kind of dose is this @lananodinmackenzie?”

It has been reported that the Kuching-born public figure has been planning to take the vaccine in the US, but not in the near future as she is still breastfeeding her youngest child, who has some health problems.
