Looks like actress Nur Fazura is giving rival hijab entrepreneurs a good run for their money, when it was revealed that a total of 80,000 scarves from her most recent collection were sold out in just two hours!
In a live streaming held on her Instagram over the weekend, the local was also seen breaking down in tears upon witnessing the overwhelming response from her fans. She also thanked them for purchasing, and at the same time, helping the 4,000 small traders she took under her wing.
During the session, the “Bicara Hati” actress also shed some light on why she’s selling her Tudung Fazura scarves at a very affordable price. “Why I’m selling my hijabs for RM27? Again, I want everyone to be able to purchase (the items). We want to help (the others). If I want to make a profit, I could sell them at a more expensive price,” Fazura explained.
“This is so that a lot of people can buy and at the same time help others who are in need. Most of them are women, mothers, single moms and so on. They have lost a large chunk of their income. They’ve experienced tons of trials,” the wife to actor Fattah Amin further added.
Back on Friday (27th August), a netizen revealed on Twitter that the revenue from the sale of Fazura’s Tudung Fazura hijab brand was estimated to reach RM2.16 million. The social media user remarked, “The formula is simple; just sell the ‘tudung’ at a low price so a lot of people can buy them. She just started her business, but she’s already made a (huge) profit.”
