11 Chinese New Year F&B Packages To Enjoy With Loved Ones

Chinese New Year is around the corner and although the future is uncertain, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t celebrate! As we adjust to the new normal, family reunions are going to be different this year but it can still be meaningful nonetheless.

If you’re looking to feast on yummy auspicious meals, Pullman KLCC is offering a few food packages for you to consider. Whether it’s for reunions, or intimate celebrations, check out these delectable highlights available:

1. Feast of Prosperity

Chinese New Year

Prepare your stomachs for this nine course meal with symbolic dishes. There are three sets to chose from with varying prices. The Spring and Happiness Set with RM1,888 for 10 people and RM999 for 5, the Heavenly Treasure Set with RM2,388 for 10 and RM1,199 for 5 and the Stellar Prosperity Set with RM2,588 for 10 and RM1,299 for 5.

2. Lou Sang! The Higher, The Better!

What is Chinese New Year without Lou Sang? The higher you toss, the better your luck. Not only that, it’s a fun family activity.

The Signature Superfood Healthy Yee Sang consists of nutritious and delicious ingredients; such as avocado, pumpkin, wolf berry, quinoa, baby spinach, walnut, almond, etc. There is also homemade yogurt plum sauce and the unforgettable crispy salted egg yolk fish skin. It costs RM98 for half portion and RM158 for a full portion. It is only available from now till 26th February.

3. Prosperous Celebration

Poon Choi has become very popular in Malaysia in recent years. Uncovering the layers in the pot is fun, and there is something for everyone too! If you haven’t tried it yet, the Abundance Poon Choi is available for RM388 for 4 and RM888 for 10. If you want the classics, there is also the Prosperity Chicken which is RM88 per bird.

4. Chinese New Year Buffet Dinner

Taste this “auspicious” buffet from the Sedap restaurant with dishes like Wok-fried Prawns and Yee Sang. The Reunion Dinner Buffet is only available on 11th February from 6:30pm to 10pm and it costs RM168 per person. The Semi-buffet Dinner is available from 12th to 26th February from 6:30pm to 10pm and it costs RM138 per person.

5. Chinese New Year High Tea

Want to treat yourself for Chinese New Year? Sedap restaurant is offering you some high tea. Available daily from now till 26th February, the spread offers sweet and savoury items for two at RM128.

6. Cocktails and Mocktails

Let’s take a break from eating and get a drink. The Niánjiǔ (年酒) consists of white and gold rum, cointreau, tia maria, tangerine and kamquat for RM38. The Mandarin Treasue with cognac, pear, passion fruit and orange is also available at RM38. The Blooming Spring has lychee, strawberry, grapefruit, fresh mint leaf and sparkling soda for RM28.

7. Abundance of Dim Sum

If you love dim sum, Red Chinese Cuisine offers a wide spread, only for this Chinese New Year. It’s available on weekends and public holidays at 11am to 3pm, which means the whole family can enjoy. For a single person, it costs RM98, while for 2-9 people, it’s RM88 per head. For 10 people and above, it costs RM78 per person.

8. Takeaway Feasts

If you prefer eating in the comfort of your own home, Pullman KLCC has prepared takeaways feasts for you. However, make sure to pre-order them! These feasts will have the necessities like yee sang and seafood, and ensure your reunion dinner will be smooth.

The Golden Fortune Set is for a minimum of 6 people, with RM68 per person. If you’d rather have individual sets, they have the Golden Prosperity Individual Set for RM68 per person too. The hotel also offers free delivery for orders above RM200 within a 10km radius. For orders less than RM200, delivery fees will be subjected to the location.

9. Afternoon Tea Takeaway Set

Want to spend an afternoon having tea with a friend? There’s a takeaway set available for RM128 per set. Three tiers are offered with a variety of desserts, all Chinese New Year themed. You can also choose to have coffee or tea.

10. CNY Prosperity Party Box

If you are hosting a gathering for Chinese New Year, we suggest the CNY Prosperity Party Box. There is the Japanese Sushi Box which has 40 pieces of sushi like hanna sushi,
ebi pumpkin avocado, salmon mayo, sambal torch, and glazed tuna nigiri for RM128. There is the Chicken Snack Box which has 30 pieces of sesame barbeque chicken wings,
handmade chicken nuggets, and chicken sausages for RM55.

The Pullman Club Box and Sedap Fruits Tart Box are RM45 each with 10 pieces inside. The Takoyaki Box has 20 pieces for RM45. Finally, the Flavourful Croissant Box has 10 pieces with a variety of flavours such as blueberry, raspberry, salted egg yolk, chocolate and durian for RM45.

11. Ox-picious Gift Box

When visiting during Chinese New Year, it’s important to bring gifts. If you’re running out of ideas, try the Ox-picious Gift Box. It is available daily from 12pm to 8pm for RM188 while stocks last and if you add RM50, you get a bottle of Penfolds Shiraz Cabernet wine (375ml).

Bonus: China House

There is a life-sized China House at Pullman KLCC for photo taking. You can also buy CNY cookies, koi fish niao gao, cupcakes and koi fish-shaped white chocolate from it starting from 12pm to 8pm.

Enjoy a 20% discount if you’re a UOB, Maybank, Public Bank, Standard Chartered, HSBC or Hong Leong bank user. There is a 25% discount for Accorplus members who are in-house guests and Accor employees. The discount is only for food excluding beverages.
