Since MCO began once more, it comes as no surprise that certain businesses will either close down or temporarily shut down operations, and that includes Maybank. It was reported that around 69 Maybank branches are temporarily closed due to the MCO and to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to Maybank’s Twitter account, its temporal closure was to ensure that customers and employees remain safe during these tough times.

Operating hours have been revised by Maybank as follows:

  • MCO-enforced states and red zones: 9:30 am – 2 pm
  • Yellow zones: 9:30 am – 3 pm
  • Green zones: 9:30 am – 4 pm

Maybank’s Twitter account updated a link to a webpage showing the list of temporarily closed branches and revised operating hours for open ones.
