Kimmy Low (劉芷希) is speaking out against a predator, who goes by the surname “Cheng”.
The Malaysian actress claims that she had been receiving harassment from phone calls not long after someone leaked her personal contact out.
The 35-year-old star held a press conference in Kuala Lumpur earlier on Tuesday (12th January) after she lodged 2 police reports. During the session, Kimmy shared that Cheng had made numerous attempts to contact her via Whatsapp.
The so-called rich businessman even offered a lot of cash (the exact amount wasn’t disclosed) in exchange to have sex with her. The real estate agent apparently hinted that Kimmy would be handsomely rewarded if she accepted his request.
“My fiancé and I felt uneasy after reading (the messages). After discussing this with his parents, we decided that I would continue chatting to find out more about him,” the former TVB star was quoted as saying. When Cheng realised he wasn’t going to get what he wanted, he decided to threaten her.
Cheng claimed that he has private information about her parents and demanded RM50,000. Kimmy added that their last conversation was last month.
