Lazada Malaysia has issued a statement to address the incident of the delivery truck caught on fire recently.
As stated by the leading e-commerce platform, they are currently cooperating with the authorities to investigate the cause of the fire and will also evaluate the destroyed parcels.

The company also shared some positive news for the affected buyers. “For customers whose orders were damaged in the incident, Lazada will provide a full refund of the purchased item,” they stated in the notice. An apology rebate will also be provided for them to repurchase the same item.
Lazada also stated that they will give a “Free Shipping Voucher” as a token of appreciation for the customers’ patience during this unexpected circumstance. For now, the customer service team is working rapidly in contacting the customers to update them on the situation. They concluded the statement by assuring everyone that they will begin the reimbursement process soon.
