The UNIQLO outlet at Fahrenheit88 Shopping Mall will be temporarily closed until further notice.
The fashion company released an official statement earlier today (Monday, 16th November) informing the public that one of its employees had tested positive for Covid-19.
The statement reads:
“Dear Valued Customer,
A team member from The UNIQLO Fahrenheit88 store has been confirmed Covid-19 positive today (15th November 2020), and we will therefore temporarily close this store until further notice for professional deep cleaning as guided by the government and public health officials.
The health and safety of our employees and customers are our top priority. We will continue to work closely with public health authorities to ensure we are taking the right precautions and we have implemented a series of preventive health measures at all our stores in Malaysia which you can find out more at https://www.uniqlo.com/my/en/.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and we truly appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.”
Having said that UNIQLO Malaysia did not disclose when the aforementioned staff last reported to work.
