The Festival of Lights is right around the corner and we eagerly look forward to this wonderful celebration brightening up our days.

This Deepavali, Malaysians will be blessed with both the victory of light over darkness and also a beautiful array of decorations at malls around Klang Valley. And since we know that staying at home can be quite gloomy sometimes, we have created a list of places where you can feast your eyes on these colourful Deepavali decorations for a change.

1. MyTOWN Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur

MyTOWN KL’s Deepvali celebration is inspired by the blooming lotus, which is a symbol of courage and optimism. And just as the lotus blooms beautifully despite its surrounding challenges, MyTOWN’s wish is for all Malaysians to embody positivity and brave adversities, so that we can emerge together as a stronger nation and better people during these unprecedented times.

2. The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur

This year, The Gardens Mall showcases a strikingly beautiful Kolam display at its concourse area on the Ground Floor. The Kolam is inspired by traditional Indian performing arts, where the attires and poses from eight traditional Indian dances, such as the Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, Manipuri, Mohiniyattam, Odissi and Sattriya, have been meticulously drawn.
