This comes after a retail staff working at Origani on the ground floor had contracted the coronavirus. Th staff was last seen on duty last Tuesday (6th October 2020).
The statement reads:
“Dear Valued Shoppers,
We have just been informed of a positive Covid-19 case involving a retail staff (Origani, Ground Floor). The said staff was on duty on Tuesday, 6th October 2020 and at that time was not showing any symptoms. The staff has not been in BSC since.
Origani has immediately closed its outlet and all staff are undergoing Covid-19 testing in full compliance with the Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines.
As a precautionary measure, BSC will temporarily close at 8.00pm today (Sunday, 11th October 2020) to undertake intensive sanitization throughout the mall at our own accord.
Rest assured BSC has continuously adhered to all Covid-19 regulations, observing the necessary preventive and precautionary measures.
We seek your utmost patience during this time as we take the necessary steps to safeguard our mall. BSC will resume its normal operation hours tomorrow. Thank you, stay safe and take care.”
