In the post, the 25-year-old recalled, “8 years ago the first time I moved out of my room, which was only RM500 per month and I couldn’t afford it. When I was in Australia I had to work 2 jobs but didn’t have enough money to finish my education. 4 years ago when I came back to Malaysia, I tried to off myself.”
Alicia continued in another thread, “And while along the way, some people and some brands had something to say about working with someone with mental illness – All my hard work supported by the chances people were willing to take on me in 10 years of modelling got me here. Yo, I’m depressed but I’m on Tatler baby!”

I just wanna let y’all know that while I’m celebrating one of the most meaningful covers of my career I am still depressed & on medication, lying in bed- so if you achieve things but you’re still depressed- you’re not ungrateful. That’s the nature of the illness, hang in there ❤️
