The sudden rise of Covid-19 cases in the Klang Valley is extremely concerning for many. Are we headed into another MCO (movement control order) if daily new cases continue to hit 3 digits?
Yesterday (Sunday, 27th September), another mall in Kuala Lumpur and a condominium in Shah Alam announced closure due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.
An employee from Menara Suezcap 1 Office was previously suspected of contracting Covid-19. The person was reportedly in close contact from someone who had recently returned from Sabah. The suspected individual has since tested negative. However, the office will remain temporarily closed until further notice.
Elsewhere in Shah Alam, Kosmo confirmed that a staff working at the Centralwalk Management Office of i-Soho building in Sekyen 17 had tested positive for Covid-19. As such, the area will be temporarily closed this week from today (Monday, 28th September) till 4th October.
