Another star has unfortunately left us. This time it’s young and talented songstress Sandra Dianne.

Earlier today (Friday, 11th September), it was revealed that the Malaysian singer, who is also a contestant in the singing show “Big Stage”, has passed away, after almost a week in coma due to a tragic car crash last weekend. She was 25 years old – only 5 days shy from turning 26 this coming 16th September.

The sad news was addressed by her duet partner during her final “Big Stage” performance, Sufie Rashid on his Instagram. “Goodbye my friend, you’re a good friend with a beautiful heart. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share the stage with you. Rest well there,” wrote the Malaysian-based Singaporean singer.

Last Saturday (5th September), Harian Metro reported that the “Hey Kau” hit-maker and her friends were involved in a horrific accident while on their way to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) to attend the full rehearsal for “Big Stage” weekly concert. Sandra suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Putrajaya Hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU).

Sandra’s funeral is set to be held at her hometown in Tuaran, Sabah, this afternoon. “Her family members have requested everyone to pray that the burial process will go smoothly,” her recording label said in a statement.

You will be missed dearly, Sandra. Rest in peace. čÖü
