Rebel Wilson, popularly known for her role as “Fat Amy” in the movie “Pitch Perfect”, has decided to take the “fat” out of both her body and the name Amy.

The actress posted a picture of her in a stunning blue dress on Instagram yesterday and fans could not stop admiring how great she looked! Rebel is seen showing off her slimmer body in the figure hugging dress and was truly glowing.

The photo was taken while the actress was on the way to a charity event held to raise funds for The School of St Jude. The school offers free education to kids in Tanzania and the post was captioned: “Raising money for a good cause today…”

Fans were in awe of the actress’ amazing weight loss results and one follower had left a flattering comment reading, “You look Fabulous! All your hard work has paid off.” Model and actress, Ruby Rose, also left a comment saying, “If I could like this picture numerous times, I would.”

At the beginning of 2020, Rebel had stated that she was turning 40 and wanted to make this her “Year of Health”. Staying true to her words, the actress did indeed become healthier and is believed to have lost around 18kg.

When speaking to The Sun about getting healthier Rebel said, “It’s not like I want to lose weight and get to around a certain number. It’s more than that, it’s about dealing mentally with why I was overeating and I had a job where I was paid a lot of money to be bigger, at times which kind of can mess with your head a bit.”

However, nothing is stopping the Australian star from achieving her weight loss goals now. Rebel has dedicated an entire year for her transformation and, if you scroll through her Instagram posts you can see the results coming to life overtime.

The Daily Mail reported that the comedian has been working with celebrity personal trainer Jono Castano. Jono has been guiding, motivating and pushing Rebel to be successful with her workouts and nutrition plans.

The actress has been incorporating an array of fitness activities into her new lifestyle, such as hiking, boxing and lifting heavy weights. The hard work seems to be paying off and Rebel’s weightless journey is an inspiration to us all to maintain a healthier lifestyle.
