Oh bummer! 🙁 TVXQ member Changmin (창민) has confirmed that he will be postponing his upcoming wedding, which was scheduled to be held next month.

The announcement came in light of the sudden increase of the Covid-19 cases in the singer’s home country, South Korea.

Earlier today (Thursday, 27th August), the K-pop star’s agency, SM Entertainment released a statement to address the sad news. They wrote, “Due to the concerns of the rising Covid-19 cases, Changmin has postponed his wedding, originally set to take place on 5th September. He is planning on choosing a new date after discussing with their family.”

The “Mirotic” hit-maker joins several other Hallyu celebs who have recently made changes to their wedding plans due to the resurgence of the coronavirus outbreak in the country. Some of them include actress Kang Sora, who was originally planning to hold her wedding on the 29th August. She had to cancel the ceremony and replace it with a small family gathering instead.

Looks like fans will need to wait a little longer to see the hunky idol walk down the aisle with his partner. Still, the health and safety of Changmin and his loved ones should be prioritised.
