A 6-year-old boy made headlines this week for his heroic act in protecting his little sister from a dog attack. His aunt took to Instagram to share that he was bitten several times on the face and in the head, before he grabbed her hand and rescued her.
The brave kid, named Bridger Walker, received more than 90 stitches following the attack. In the post, she also tagged a few Hollywood stars including Tom Holland, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt and more.
The comments section has since been flooded with many netizens leaving warm wishes to Bridger. Interestingly, “Avengers” star Mark Ruffalo also responded to her post. He wrote, “People who put the well beings of others in front of themselves are the most heroic and thoughtful people I know. I truly respect and admire your courage and your heart.”
Anne Hathaway also posted a heartwarming message to Bridger, praising his amazing courage. The Oscar winner, who played Catwoman in “The Dark Night Rises” starlet captioned, “I’m not an Avenger, but I know a superhero when I see one. I can only hope I’m half as brave in my life as you are in yours, Bridger. Wishing you an easeful recovery, and many cool looking rocks.”
Other stars like Oscar winner Octavia Spencer, Robbie Amell and also “Captain Marvel” actress Brie Larson also reacted to Nicole’s touching post. The courageous 6-year-old even received a special shout out from Chris Evans, who played Captain America in the superhero movie franchise. Watch it here:
