There are currently many confused Apple users experiencing apps crashing on their devices.
You name it, popular apps and services including TikTok, Spotify, Pinterest, Tinder, JOOX, and more are broken whenever they’re launched on iPhones and iPads.

The apps can only be opened if the user goes offline. In some cases, it’ll only benefit Spotify users with saved music and podcasts. Having said that, no similar incidents of apps crashing were reported by Android devices or on the web.
So what gives?
According to The Verge, Facebook is to be blamed. The real cause of outage hasn’t been determined yet, but early reports point to Facebook’s software development kit (SDK). Many apps rely on the aforementioned to login.

Facebook has since released a statement that it was “aware (of) and investigating an increase in errors on the iOS SDK which is causing some apps to crash.”
