It is every fan’s dream to chat, interact and get closer with their favourite idol after each
concert. The starstruck moment that is only relatable to an ardent fan.

Ahead of their virtual concert on 18th July 2020 in conjunction with Japan Expo Malaysia 2020 Goes Virtual (JEMY 2020), SKE48 is excited to meet their fans through a half an hour special virtual hangout session.

Here are 5 reasons why you should not miss out the Zoom Call opportunity!

1. Up close and personal

SKE48

What would it mean if you directly zoom with the kawaii idols, literally from
the comfort of your own home? Imagine the rush of adrenaline when the members are waving at you from your mobile screen. This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with them. It will be an authentic and individualised experience despite not being physically present.

2. The artists will notice you

Many fans send mail or messages to their favourite celebrities knowing that it might not ever get read, and will likely not get responded to. After all, big name celebs literally get messages from millions of fans via their respective fan mail.

However SKE48 was founded based on the “idols you can meet”. The members are accustomed to meeting fans and known for their friendly nature! With the virtual meet, you can be rest assured that the members will remember you.

3. Have a shared experience with other fans

People attend concerts because they enjoy belonging to a group with similar interests. Despite of the travel restrictions, you can still hang out with people who share the same passion as you. What other fun way is there to show your fandom? You will get to experience the energy and excitement with the rest of the community. The teen sensation has gained worldwide popularity and is literally idolised by their adoring fans. Why not join them?

4. Show some love

SKE48 has been charming fans with their cute nature, matching outfits and polished routines. Fans will usually chant song lyrics and cheer loudly during concerts. Despite not being able to travel to Sunshine Sakae of Nagoya, you can still clinch a slot and show some virtual love to these idols! This will satisfy the J-pop craving until the travel restriction is lifted.

5. Memorable experience

SKE48

This virtual meet will at least allow you to be “front and centre” of the action. Everyone is on equal footing and there is no need to jockey for position in front of the stage. Those who spend the additional time with the artists can capture this chat as a lifetime memory or “online photo opportunity”. You can replay the moments from your Zoom account and reminiscent precious moments with adorable members!

Among the members that will be joining the virtual session are Ruka Inoue (Team S), Yuki Arai(Team KII), Yuna Ego (Team KII), Nao Furuhata(Team KII), Haruka Kumazaki (Team E), and Kaho Sato(Team E).
