At last, Resorts World Genting’s outdoor theme park has a name – Genting SkyWorlds.
Following countless postponements, Genting Malaysia Bhd (GENM) is looking at the second quarter of 2021 (2Q21) to finally debut Genting SkyWorlds.
The outdoor theme park was initially supposed to launch this year, but then the Covid-19 pandemic happened and construction works had to be temporarily stopped due to the 3-month movement control order. Thus, the 1-year delay is inevitable. However, under the new RMCO, construction works have since been given the green light to resume.
Although the “20th Century Fox” brand has been dropped after their dispute with Fox and Disney, the highly-anticipated attraction will still include the studio’s movies together with other unnamed “international class” movie-themed attractions.
In case you didn’t know, Resorts World Genting has now resumed operations. Can’t wait to see what the company has in store for Genting SkyWorlds 😉
