This is the moment fitness enthusiasts have been waiting – the reopening of gym centres and sports halls.
Just minutes ago, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced that gyms and indoor halls such as badminton courts and sports complex are finally allowed to resume business.
However, swimming pools and other close-contact sports (including rugby, wrestling, boxing, football, basketball, hockey) are still prohibited from opening. Although many can’t wait to sweat it out again, it’s still important to remain contactless.
Gyms such as Celebrity Fitness and Fitness First have also been working towards new guidelines for club members to ensure that the health and safety remain a priority. No doubt the gym centres will be rolling out their SOPs in the coming days.
Gimnasium, dewan tertutup seperti dewan badminton dan kompleks sukan dibenarkan dibuka semula bermula 15 Jun 2020. Pengendali perlu isi borang notifikasi di laman web MITI mulai hari ini.
