Rumours have been circulating over the past few days that several MPH bookstores in Malaysia are shutting down its business. For real?
Facebook user Sri Diah Shaharuddin shared that she “received the information” that 9 MPH bookstores will close down for good. The branches are Amanjaya, Sunway GEO, SACC Mall, MYTOWN, JB City Square, Kinta City, MYDIN MITC, Taman Universiti and Subang Parade.
Despite no official announcement issued by the company yet, the internet community has been buzzing about the matter online. In this case, others pointed out that MPH is currently holding a “Moving-out Clearance” sale, offering up to 70% discount.
Not only that, others also noticed that the workers were packing reading materials inside some boxes, further confirming the speculations. Besides the Kuala Lumpur outlets, netizens from other parts of the country have also shared the current situation happening at the MPH branch near them.

Aku tak sangka aku akan sedih bila masuk MPH tadi nampak staf dia tengah packing buku masuk dalam kotak. Dekat tingkap tulis "moving out clearance". Ini pengakhiran kedai buku ke?
