Once international travelling is allowed to resume, travellers will get to experience new facilities in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
Besides new air ventilators inside toilets, cosier carpets at the boarding gates, and faster internet speed, the airport will also debut Malaysia’s first Jamie Oliver restaurant.
This news comes courtesy of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) group CEO Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh, who gave the exclusive to Free Malaysia Today. However, not much was revealed other than the fact that it’s currently in the works. Hopefully we’ll see it in the near future?
In Southeast Asia alone, the celebrity chef has Jamie’s Italian in Singapore (Forum The Shopping Mall) as well as the Jamie Oliver Kitchen outlets in Kuta beach in Bali and Bangkok, Thailand. These concepts focuses on “all-day dining with dishes reflecting local cuisine“.
