Online shopping around the world has seen a spike in sales ever since we’ve had to stay at home. However, many customers have been encountering the same problem when making purchases at leading e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, Lelong, and more.
What can you do when it’s been a month and your items haven’t arrived? You’ve tried contacting the seller but was met with silence? Facebook page Tips Gajet recently shared a step-by-step guide on to get your refund from Shopee (since the platform only pays the seller only when the items are delivered).
1. Copy your Order ID
2. Go to your Account Settings
3. Click Help Centre
4. Make your enquiry through that email link
5. Complete the form and state the reason you’d like a refund (for enquiry, click the Return & Refunds option)
6. Once Shopee approves your appeal, the cash will be credited to your account.
Having said that, buyers will have to take note of the duration of delivery stated on the e-commerce platform. If impatience is your only excuse, then your appeal will likely be rejected.
