MCO: The Animals In Zoo Negara Need Your Help

The Movement Control Order has disrupted the income of many families. Although, some of them can still remain afloat, quite a number of them are struggling. The same can be said for many professional organizations and even animals.

Some of you may know that Zoo Negara is managed by the Malaysian Zoological society, a non-governmental organization that survives mainly through its gate collection and sponsorship from individuals, schools and corporate companies.

With the MCO in place, the zoo gets almost nothing and although the people working there can find a way to survive, it may not be the same for the animals residing there. The animals in Zoo Negara are up for adoption. If you’re already thinking of how you’re going to clear enough space in your home for a giraffe, that’s not what we mean.

You can help by adopting one of the animals by maintaining its annual food, enrichment and veterinary care. You will get a certificate of adoption stating your selected animal and you will be acknowledged in Zoo Negara’s annual report along with the amount of your sponsorship.

Zoo Negara Adoption package is valid from 31st March 2020 – 31st March 2021.

If you have some money to spare and feel like saving an animal or too, it would be great if you could provide some donations. A minimum donation of RM26 is required and RM1 for processing fee. To adopt an animal, click here.

How to claim your rewards:

Upon successful registration, you will receive an attached Ticket2U e-ticket as voucher(s) via registered email address. If you did not receive Ticket2U e-ticket voucher(s), check your spam/junk box.

Download and present your printed hard copy Ticket2U e-ticket voucher(s) at the Zoo Negara Ticketing Counter upon arrival to claim wrist band(s) and/or complementary pack, if eligible. Softcopy will not be accepted.

Kindly download “Adoption an animal e-certificate” at Ticket2U by key in your unique Ticket Number under the QR Code. To do so, click here.
