The first Korean celebrity diagnosed with Covid-19 has been confirmed to be Supernova member Yoon Hak (윤학). This is not a false alarm guys!
His label SV Records has confirmed the unfortunate update following the initial news posted by local news outlet SPOTV. It’s reported that the “My Unfortunate Boyfriend” actor just came back from Japan after fulfilling his work commitments there.
“On 24th March, Yunhak returned to Korea from Japan after completing his schedule. He tested positive for the Coronavirus 2 days after that (1st April),” the entertainment agency wrote.
The statement continues, “The result from his test showed he had mild symptoms of the virus, and he is currently hospitalised to receive treatment. We think it will be possible for him to recover quickly. We will halt all of his scheduled activities for a while to focus on his treatment and recovery.”
For those who don’t know, Yoon Hak made his official K-pop debut as a member of Supernova back in 2007, along with Sung Jae, Kwang Soo, Geon Il, Jin Hyuk and Sung Mo. They are well-known among K-fans with their 2009 hit “TTL: Time To Love” (with girl group T-ara). The boys have been mainly focusing on their activities in the neighbouring country for the last several years.

The 37-year-old heartthrob is currently being treated at the Seoul Medical Centre. On the other hand, the authorities have been keeping track with the places he had visited since his arrival in his home country.
We wish Yoon Hak a speedy recovery!
