Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman is gaining praise for his generous effort to help others amidst the Covid-19 outbreak.
According to BFM News, the young politician is reportedly donating his one-month salary as a member of parliament for the town, in order to give financial aid to a number of constituents affected by the disastrous pandemic.

Despite the claims that he hasn’t received his annual MP’s allocation, word has it that the donation will amount to approximately RM 16,000. Though Saddiq hasn’t come out with a statement to address the reports, the news has received massive reactions from local netizens.
In this case, most of them have been showering the former Youths and Sports Minister with positive remarks for his kind action amidst the challenging time as many Malaysians are suffering at the moment. Some even named him as a suitable candidate in the running for the next PM.
As of today (Saturday, 21st March), four deaths have been reported. Two of the cases were in Kuching, while one each in Kuala Lumpur and Kelantan.
