Last night (Monday, 16th March), Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin announced that Malaysia will undergo a partial lockdown from 18th till 31st March 2020.

As such, all non-essential businesses will have to close their respective premises. This include entertainment outlets like cinemas. MBO, TGV and GSC Cinemas have all release statements about their temporary closure.

Those who have previously purchased movie tickets via counters or e-kiosks will be entitled for a refund after the end of the restrict movement this month.
