A viral photo titled Kabinet Bayangan 2020 (Imaginary Cabinet 2020) has been circulating online since yesterday (Monday, 24th February), much to everyone’s amusement. Did you come across it?
The photo shows several controversial figures being depicted as brand new members of the parliament. Based on the poster below, local celebrity Azwan Ali was named the brand new Prime Minister as a replacement to Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
Besides Azwan, the photo also includes other celebrities such as Dato’ Aliff Syukri taking on the role as Deputy Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Vida as the Finance Minister, Nur Sajat as Women, Family and Community Development Minister and also Caprice as the Youth and Sports Minister, just to name a few.
Enraged with everyone making fun of him online, Azwan took to Twitter to point out his disappointment. It’s revealed that he will take action against the internet troll in a press conference today (Tuesday, 25th February). “A media conference will be held on the lawsuit case against this clown who uploaded this poster. All are invited to attend,” he wrote.
With back-to-back hot controversies caused, looks like Azwan is definitely making use of the spotlight given to him. Don’t you think so?
It didn’t help that the netizen lumped him together with Dato’ Seri Vida.
