Hong Kong actress Katy Kung (龔嘉欣)’s relationship status has been a mystery, despite her being linked with multiple male artistes throughout the years. That being said, rumours have started to spread that she’s currently dating a rich Malaysian named Bryan .
Netizens caught wind of it following the opening of her restaurant in Malaysia, that had many wondering why didn’t she opted for a place in Hong Kong instead. This resulted in speculations being made for the location choice, with many pointing at her connection with Bryan.
When speaking to reporters, “The Jade And The Pearl” star quickly denied the relationship stating that, “We’re not dating. We’re only friends. Earlier, Bryan asked a few TVB artistes and myself to attend an event in Malaysia, which is where we met. No, he did not contribute to my business. I invested in it myself with a friend from Hong Kong.”
Having said that, she did admit that she was pursued by somebody outside the showbiz industry last year. Couple that with pictures of the two together in social gatherings have made many of her fans curious about her love life. When pressed about the apparent closeness with Bryan, the 30-year-old said, “I don’t remember. I take a lot of photos with friends at dinner.”

The Hong Kong native’s last public relationship was with fellow Hong Konger, Patrick Tang (鄧健泓), who she first met on the set of 2010’s “7 Days In Life” (“隔離七日情”). The two started dating shortly after and even moved in together. Unfortunately, the couple ended their relationship two years later in 2012, following rumours that Tang had cheated on her with another actress.
Currently, “The Forgotten Valley” actress is fully committed to her work stating that she doesn’t wish to think about dating at the moment. She told reporters, “Not going to think about dating right now. Next year, from January through September, I have to film dramas. Since the company is giving me opportunities, I won’t think about other things.”
