People Are Re-selling The IKEA x Virgil Abloh Collection “MARKERAD” For An Eye-Popping Price

The wait is finally over! Finally, the much anticipated collaboration project between IKEA and chief-executive officer of Milan-based fashion label Off-White Virgil Abloh has finally made it to our country.

The collection “MARKERAD” is now officially available for purchase in all local IKEA outlets – Damansara and Cheras (Klang Valley area) and also Batu Kawan (Penang) – since yesterday (31st October 2019)

In case you’ve missed the hype, the special collaboration between the popular furniture with the renowned fashion mogul was made available in a few IKEA stores in Europe for a limited time period.

The highy-anticipated “MARKERAD” collection has managed to catch the attention of many fans in Malaysia. In this case, many people, especially online re-sellers gathered as early as 5am to not missed out on the chance to get their hands on the limited edition items.

Not only that, some also took the advantage to re-sell the items online after purchasing them in stores – for an eye-popping price that exceeded the original number. As seen on the tweet below, the user is selling the “MARKERAD” white clock for a whopping price of RM400!  Keep in mind that the original price of the clock is only RM129 – and the list of the selling items goes on as we’re saying.
