After a month long absence, Neelofa had finally made her long-awaited comeback as a host for the weekly live TV programme “MeleTOP”.
In the recent episode of the show, Lisa Surihani and Daphne Iking recently made their guest appearance to promote their latest Islamic TV show entitled “Girls Day In”.
During the segment, the 2 guests touched on the topic of women’s rights. Neelofa then joined in the conversation by claiming that “a lot of married men are known to advantage by abusing their power as husbands against their wives.”
Daphne further added to her point by saying, “That’s why this show aims to educate women to get to know your rights and take that power back. Itu HAK anda.” Neelofa agreed with her sentiments by saying “Nabil (her co-host), my sister has to watch this show!”
Her response received lukewarm reaction from local netizens though. In this case, it looked kind of obvious that the “Suri Hati Mr. Pilot” actress was subtly referring to the ongoing issue between her sister, Noor Nabila and Sharnaaz Ahmad.
Most of them felt that Neelofa was being unprofessional by throwing unnecessary shade towards her brother-in-law. You can watch the full clip here:
