As many of you fans may know, JJ Lin (林俊傑)’s “Sanctuary 2.0 World Tour” Malaysian concert tickets went on sale yesterday (Friday, 13th September).
While 5 out of the 10 categories have already sold out (at time of writing), scalpers have already taken to their usual tactics to try and earn some extra bucks.
The 38-year-old pop star will be returning to Malaysia to perform at National Stadium, Bukit Jalil on 7th December 2019 (Saturday). To recap, concert tickets are priced at RM888, RM688, RM588, RM488, RM388, RM228, RM188. Almost all of the cheapest categories have already sold out within 24 hours.
- Still available: Cat 1, 2, 3, 8, 9
- Sold out: Cat 4, 5, 6, 7, 10
Although there are still plenty of tickets up for grabs, scalpers have already taken to sites such as Viagogo and Carousell to resell their purchased tickets at a higher price. The most outrageous price we saw on Viagogo was a netizen reselling Cat 1 ticket (RM888) for RM2082. Meanwhile, there are those on Carousell reselling 1 pair of Cat 4 tickets (RM488 x 2) for RM1300.
Viagogo has previously stated that the platform “does not set ticket prices, sellers set their own prices, which may be above or below the original face value”.
Our advice? Don’t bother with any 2nd hand tickets (risk getting conned) and go straight to TicketCharge to purchase your JJ Lin concert tickets.
