Have you ever watched the animated movie “Tangled”? It’s a story about Rapunzel with a Disney twist. There is a scene where the royal family and citizens release lanterns into the sky in hopes for the princess’ return.
The Lights Fest reminds us of that stunning part in “Tangled”. What if you could experience something magical like that?
The Lights Fest is basically a traveling lantern festival where you write down your wishes and dreams on biodegradable lanterns and release them into the night sky. It’s a symbolic way of communicating to the universe. This sort of ceremonial event is commonly practised in Asia (especially Taiwan).
A few days ago, we came across a sponsored post from The Lights Fest announcing that they may be visiting Malaysia soon. However, no official announcement has been made on their website and social media.
