This festive Ramadhan season, Starbucks is paying tribute to Malaysia’s diversity and rich heritage by introducing some new offerings.
In celebration of the holy month of Ramadhan, Starbucks has debuted the Bandung Éclair, Gula Melaka Donut and Green Velvet Nangka Cake. Besides that, everyone’s hometown favourite Ondeh-Ondeh Muffin is back!
1. Bandung Éclair (RM 7.30)
A classic French pastry with a Malaysian twist? Yes please! Inside the éclair, you’ll be ablr to taste soft custard filling with its pastry submerged in rose cordial syrup (Sirap Bandung) topped with pink chocolate and pink chocolate drizzle.
2. Gula Melaka Donut (RM 7.20)
Inspired by Gula Melaka or palm sugar, this star-shaped doughnut is topped with roasted Hawaiian coconut shavings. Recommended to pair it with the signature Pike Place Roast beans or Starbucks Ice Shaken Passion Tea.
3. Green Velvet Pandan Cake (RM 13.70)
What’s not to like about the new Green Velvet Nangka Cake? The pandan flavour of the green velvet mix with bits of jackfruit (Nangka) and cheese mousse makes it simply oh-so-irresistible.
4. Ondeh-Ondeh Muffin (RM 8.20)
No Raya is complete without the inclusion of traditional kuih-muih. The Ondeh-Ondeh muffin brings back memories when you take your first bite. The muffin has a combination of pandan and coconut flavours, complimented with a rich Gula Melaka or palm sugar sauce and a hint of coconut bites.
