Thanks to her infamous scandal with singer Andy Hui (許志安), Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) has lost plenty of jobs including “The Offliners” (堅離地愛堅離地), “Finding Her Voice” (牛下女高音), “Maid’s Alliance” (丫鬟大聯盟), “Men’s Kitchen” (懿想得到), and one of the highly anticipated TVB dramas, “Forensic Heroes IV”(法證先鋒IV).
As “Forensic Heroes IV” is set to be TVB anniversary drama this year, the station has no choice but to reshoot the scenes containing Wong whom they have “frozen”. Because of Wong’s current reputation, TVB refuses to risk the series’ ratings even if it means that the reshooting may result in heavy losses.
Last week, producer Mui Siu-ching (梅小青) confirmed that another actress will be reshooting Wong’s scenes in the drama series, and the actresses rumoured for the role include Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯), Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), and Priscilla Wong (黃翠如).
In the end, the person who has been confirmed to take over Wong’s role is none other than her good friend Roxanne Tong – who already did a costume fitting and started filming some scenes yesterday.
Producer Mui however, requested the 32-year-old actress to lose 10 pounds before June to which she agreed to immediately.
“I don’t have any pressure since my weight fluctuates all the time. Sometimes I’m fat and other times I’m thin. I’ll be OK. Right now, I’m using multiple methods at once: diet, exercise, and massage. In the future, I might be able to release a book on weight loss!” she said as quoted by Jayne Stars.
“I’m willing to do anything if the company is giving me opportunities. Having a good role is already a good thing, so I won’t concern myself with other things,” adding that she doesn’t mind if people call her a second choice.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline Wong is supposedly scheduled to work in Barcelona this month, but due to her scandal, she has been replaced by Samantha Ko (高海寧) and Ali Lee (李佳芯).
