In line with the premier of their Summer Afternoon Tea Set, here are 3 reasons for guests to have a cup of tea (and more) with Altitude.

Kicking off the Summer Afternoon Tea Set, guests can look forward to starting their tea time with 3 appetisers: Lobster Grissine, Char Siew Chicken Crisp, and Garden Herb Tuile.

The following appetisers set the tone for an elegant meal that is satisfying for both the eyes and the taste buds. A selection of sandwiches and savouries are up next for savour. The variety of choices offers guests a rich flavour.

Of course, what’s a tea time without a cup of tea or coffee? With the afternoon set, guests are given the liberty to choose a cup of coffee or tea of their choice.

The highlight of the afternoon menu is definitely the selection of sugary morsels that is the definition of paradise for every sweet tooth out there! The plate consists of desserts that ranges from Vanilla Mossuex to the classical fruit tart.

Guests are allowed to enjoy the delicacies according to their own pace. The best part of it all? You can get this at only RM98 nett per person. The course is available from 2.30pm to 4.30pm daily.

Along with it their delicious pastries, guests can expect to enjoy their meal to a breathtaking view.

Located on the 53rd floor of Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur, Altitude offer visitors an incredible view of the KL city. From the balcony, visitors are able to see the twin towers. From inside the restaurant, visitors are able to get a view of the KL Tower.

It’s definitely a sight to behold. With its breathtaking view and perfect lighting, you can get Instagram-worthy photos in no time!

For instance, the executive chef of Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur, Alexander Waschl has over 19 years of experience in the culinary industry who oversees the culinary operations in Altitude.

Over the years, Alexander has won numerous accolades throughout Europe and Asia for his cooking abilities. With his years of experience, you can expect nothing less than a world-class cuisine experience.

In addition, Altitude’s sommelier and outlet manager, Suraya Kaiv is a certified sommelier from the Malaysian Sommelier Association. Her expertise are on the area of viticulture and enology.

To date, her proudest achievement would be her recognition from The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), who is the largest global provider of wine, spirits and sake qualifications. In addition, she also received her WSET Level 2 award in Wines and Spirits.

With her knowledge and experience, she is able to serve customers well not only by providing them with the information of the food they consume but also by developing wine pairings to attract new customers while maintaining the existing ones.
