Malaysia’s first-ever and largest indoor live music festival, OMNI Waves 2019 which is slated to take place 23rd March 2019 at Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC), has been cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
The organisers has released an official statement on social media, citing that the cancellation is not “caused by our host venue, Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) and/or other participated media partners/sponsors.”
“We extend our heartiest gratitude to all fans who had supported this Event and apologies for any inconvenience caused. Please note that we have adhered to all necessary terms and conditions as well as rules and regulations imposed,” the statement read.
However, the organisers said that it will be hosting “a more powerful event” in the near future, in which they shall announce the details soon.
“To all who had purchased your ticket(s), you may proceed with an option for refund and the procedures will be announced via our official website, TicketCharge and AirAsia RedTix websites as well as social media by next week.
“Once again, please accept our sincere apology and stay tuned for something bigger!
Thank you,” the statement concluded.
